THD Type Plummer Block Housings Are One-piece Bearing Housings Suitable For Spherical Roller Bearings Which Are Grease Lubricated. This Type Have Slot Along Its Length On The Two Opposite Edges Where THD Type Plummer Block Is Supported On Guide Rails Of Belt Tensioning Device Of A Belt Conveyor Application. The Screwing Arrangement Of Belt Tensioning Device Helps Move These Housings In Guide Rail Resulting Shifting Of Pulley To Tighten Conveyor Belt. Sizes Vary From Shaft Diameter 50 Mm To 530 Mm. Requirement Of THD Plummer Blocks For Larger Shaft Can Be Available Upon Request.
THD Type Used To Take High Load With Shock/impact Loading At Lower Speed. They Are Sturdy And Easy To Mount For Belt Pulley Assembly. Typical Use Is For Conveyor Pulley In Material Handling Industry.
